ruth Bobbie Ruth began her career as a child performer in a family act with her mother, father and brother. She sings all styles of music from pop to rock to ethnic (singing in seven languages) to classical to Broadway.

*She is the "girl vocalist" with The Swingtime Big Band (www.swingtimeny.com), which recently swung New Yorkers at Lincoln Center's MidSummer Night's Swing.
*She is the vocalist with Milton Gerver's Rye Playland Orchestra, performing in many New York venues, including Rye Playland and Yonkers Raceway.
*She sings regularly with The Danny Vincent Orchestra, playing annually at Kingsborough College's summer concerts.
*And she appeared with the following orchestras: Don Michael's Orchestra, Ira Alexander & the Swingtimers, Joe Battaglia's New York Big Band and The Hal Hoffman Orchestra.

She has her own jazz/a cappella vocal group, Class Action, recently seen on Channel 20's Something to Talk About. Bobbie also performs rock & roll with Shake, Rabbis & Roll.

Two of her favorite gigs were long runs as a singer/guitarist in the New York Hilton Lounge and The Top of the Sixes. She is a one-woman band for all occasions with her synthesizer keyboard and performs the art of Middle Eastern Dancing (belly dancing) and Hawaiian dancing under the name of Sabrina.

She has sung and danced in productions of several theater companies. She is currently with "Plaza Productions Theatre Company" as well as with their traveling "Children's Theater."
